When people imagine visiting Bordeaux, they think of visiting vineyards – and rightly so. The Bordeaux wine region has roughly 9,000 vineyards! We hand-picked the very best ones, so you get the most out of your quality time in France. We add a beach twist to your vineyard exploration. A unique concept to spend quality time. Wine tastings and dinners at what we think are the best places to eat. We’ll be your private tour guide, combining fabulous wines with laid-back surfing … from the Vineyards to the Sea. Vive La Vie.

Let's do this

Below is just one of many options to make the most out of your week. We look forward guiding you from the Vineyards to the Sea.

Day 1: It would be crazy to visit our piece of paradise in the Landes without a quick visit to Bordeaux. We book you a table at Café de L’Espérance at Le Saint James. Have a look at the gastronomic menu … Stay a night in bordeaux ?

Day 2: After Breakfast you enjoy a walk around “Le Triangle d’Or”, the historic city centre and we will book you a table for lunch Chez Dupont. In the afternoon you visit CAPC followed by some wine tasting Aux Quatre Coins Du Vin. We could take a scenic drive through the vineyards and make a stop at Lynch Bages. Café Lavinal is highly recommened. Menu. Stay a night in Margaux at this villa

Day 3: The more adventurous can go for a Porsche GT3 driving experience (€139 pp) … or we do a private wine tour with helicopter (€245 pp). Or just spend a day relaxing/surfing at the local beach. Or go winetasting at Smith Haut Lafite followed by diner at La Grand Vigne or La Table du Lavoir. If you don’t take the drive to SHL you could have diner at Côté Quiller or next door at Relais de la Poste (both from Jean Coussau) in Magesq.

Day 4: Do some shopping in Hossegor and have lunch at Le Cafe Sud in Capbreton ? Late afternoon tea at the Seignosse Golf Course ? Followed by diner at Villa Etang Blanc or Jean des Sables ?

Day 5: Enjoy lunch at Tantina de la Playa. 11 time world champion Kelly Slater told us this is his favourite seafood restaurant in the whole world. We don’t disagree. Later that evening explore some other secret spots in Biarritz. Maybe sunset drinks at Le Blue Cargo ?  We suggest a private house 100 meters from our favourite surf spot, Côte des Basques. And highly recommend Chateau de Brindos if you’re into gastronomy and the (really) good life. Owned by Serge Blanco, this 5-star hotel is located in Anglet in the Basque Country. Set in a 14-hectare park, it is 5 minutes from the sandy beaches of Biarritz.

Day 6: After breakfast spend a day at the superb golf course in Biarritz, with our friend and private Golf Coach Didier Jenaste. After the golf lessons discover the magic that is Biarritz. C Places like this , near Guethary.

Day 7: In the morning fly back home at the Biarritz airport. Or add an extra day to take an exciting helicopter tour above the highest dune in Europe and the Arcachon area, with the crew from HéliProPassion. Experience the traditional long and narrow wooden boats which are typical of the Bay of Arcachon. Have a look here to get an idea. Have some tapas at La Coorniche before going to the airport in Bordeaux.

Sounds like a plan ?
